To craft specific Healer and Attacker Gems in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, players will need a monster drop resource known as Garaffa Electrical Organs. As one could deduce from the item’s name, Garaffa Electrical Organs are innards from the Garaffa, a tall giraffe-esque creature in Aionios with a head that resembles a catfish. Despite the fish-like appearance of its face, this beast prefers a habitat away from water. Specifically, players can find this animal grazing within the mountainous grasslands of the Fornis Region. Garaffa Electrical Organs Location In Xenoblade Chronicles 3
To acquire Garaffa Electrical Organs in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, players must hunt the Mailoo Garaffa, which can be found in the Ribbi Flats in the southern portion of the Fornis Region. It is recommended that the player’s units collectively be Level 20 or higher since the Garaffa are leveled at 19.

The Ribbi Flats zone is made up of several smaller areas, which might make it tricky to pinpoint where Mailoo Garaffa can be found. Fortunately, Gamepur has revealed two locations in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 where adventurers can encounter these mobs and acquire their Garaffa Electrical Organs. Specifically, the creatures are located in the northern portion of Caitlin Drum, an elevated plateau north of Magglia Lake, and Colony 30 Cave Mouth, a Landmark beside Colony 30. Garaffas are relatively tall, making them easy to see across the terrain. After finding them, adventurers can kill them to obtain their organ resources in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Keep in mind that other items might also drop from the beasts, so it could take players several hunts before they get Garaffa Electrical Organs.
Garaffa Electrical Organs can be used to craft Lifesaving Expertise III and Swelling Scourge IX. Lifesaving Expertise III is a Gem for Healers that slightly boosts their Healing while also decreasing the time for an ally to be revived. Conversely, Swelling Scourge IX is an Attacker Gem that empowers the Debuffs applied to enemies. While players might naturally think Lifesaving Expertise III is for Healers and Swelling Scourge IX is for Attackers, both can actually be used for support Classes. Since Tacticians like Taion can apply Debuffs on targets, such Healers would benefit more from this Gem than a DPS-based Attacker Class would.
