Independent video game developer Zine Falouti just announced Shadows of Larth, a new third-person action game.
Planned for release in the second quarter of 2020, the game will feature a triple stance based melee combat system infused with RPG elements.
The developer explains how the character’s right hand will be the “Normal Hand.” With it, the player will be able to yield found or looted weapons. These can be upgraded by using Red Stones and reaching the forge of the Sixth Fort (Hub Area).
With the left hand, AKA the “Marked Hand,” the player will be able to cast various spells or “Marked Abilities.” In order to learn these spells, gamers will have to find Blue Scrolls.
Finally, Falouti explains, for each weapon class “Dual,” “Two-Handed,” and “Pole Arms,” players will have three stances. When switching the stance, the combo attack chain changes, allowing for creative and destructive combinations.
Shadows of Larth will be set in the fantasy semi-open world of Lower Larth. There, a champion sent by the Marked Guild will have to explore woods, caves, villages, cities, and palaces to fight the Wind Element corruption and its evil emissaries.
The final goal will be to defeat Keepers and Shadows Of Larth and by doing so restoring the Wind to its former state.

In terms of minimum system requirements, the game will run on Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 10 machines with an Intel Core i5-2300 processor and 6 GB of RAM. A graphics card GeForce GTX or Radeon HD with at least 1 GB of Video Memory will also be required.
The developer suggested that while the game is playable using a keyboard and a mouse, players should consider using a Gamepad for “an amazing experience.”
