Telltale and Mojang have just released an extra spooky trailer for the next installment in Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two. The fourth episode, titled “Below the Bedrock,” continues Jesse and the Gangs journey, as they journey into uncharted territory.
Last episode saw them narrowly escape the Admin’s prison by heading below bedrock, The Sunshine Institute, with the help of another former Admin, Prisoner X (Xara). In the newest trailer, Jesse and the remaining fugitives not only discover a forgotten city, but an entire world is hidden beneath the previously unbreakable earth.
We got a glimpse of some of some of the frightening things lurking at the end of “Jailhouse Block,” as a giant enderman walked about behind the gang. The trailer sees the return of the giant, as well as a bevy of other monsters and tortured souls that inhabit the first world.
Xara reveals through narration in the trailer that this “First World” was the first one ever built, created by Fred (he dead), Romeo (The current Admin), and herself. “Below the Bedrock” will yet again see Jesse and his friends do their best to defend the innocent people that do live in the “First World” all while trying to defeat The Admin and his crooked creations (like a lava golem).
Another interesting tidbit revealed by the trailer is that the man who The Admin sent after Jesse’s group will make and appearances as well.
Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two. Episode four, “Below the Bedrock,” will be available for download starting November 7, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices.
