Twitch Prime members have been getting all sorts of great rewards since the program was announced last August. Hugely popular games like Overwatch, Warframe, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have all offered free loot boxes and limited issue items just for being a part of the program. Another wildly popular streaming game, Blizzard’s collectible card game Hearthstone, is getting in on the action next month. Check out the golden card pack being offered to all Twitch Prime members starting next month:
That’s pretty slick.
The pack will be available for all Twitch Prime members starting November 9, and will no longer be available January 9. Every card in the pack will be a golden card from the classic Hearthstone set, so make sure you pick it up during the time frame and grab that golden Ragnaros.
Twitch Prime is a service offered at no extra cost to all Twitch users who also subscribe to Amazon Prime. The process is simple – just link your two accounts and watch the rewards roll in. It offers free loot drops as well as discounts on games sold through Amazon; in addition, various other perks are meted out periodically like free games. Amazon Prime costs $100 per year (or $11 per month if you do not want to commit to a full year) and offers streaming video and music, free two-day shipping, and a variety of other positives.
Hearthstone is still the big dog in the crowded collectible card game eSport world, but a few other contenders have started drawing people away and chipping it down. Right now, the Oktoberbrawl event is going on, which offers players a choice of teams to fight for, as well as two additional card backs. If you haven’t had a chance to join the Oktboerbrawl yet, hurry – it ends in just a few short days on October 10.
