Listen up ya bafooks! Everyone’s favorite gang of dysfunctional Dungeons and Dragons players are officially back this fall for Twits & Crits’ next season.
The news was announced earlier this week on Roosterteeth’s blog by Funhaus member, and resident lightfoot halfling rogue/boy band depository Grimo Rudefellow, Elyse Willems. In the post, Willems detailed a couple of changes that would be made to the series.
“Going forward, Twits & Crits will post to RoosterTeeth.com every other week. On September 14th we kick things off with a 2-hour special that concludes the events of the story arc you’ve been following for the past three seasons.”
While fans may be sad to see the original storyline end, don’t fret, as Funhaus is spinning the situation in a manner only they possibly could. After the series finale, the group will return for a spinoff/sequel series inspired by…Universal Studios The Dark Universe, or as they call it, the DUCU.
With the amazing title of Twits & Crits: The League of Extraordinary Jiremen, the newest adventure will see the group create their own coalition of macabre men and women. The series will play with existing genre and horror tropes.
Don’t worry though, all of your favorite characters will be returning, as Dirik, Myri, Racsan, Shattercock, Decker, and Grimo will embark upon a new adventure. There is no word just how they will integrate these characters into the new story, but realism isn’t a huge problem when it comes to Funhaus and Dungeons and Dragons.
Just like the last few seasons, Twits & Crits: The League of Extraordinary Jiremen will be a first membership exclusive. Tune in for the thrilling 2-hour conclusion of the Twits & Crits Seasons 1-3 arc on September 14th and return for the all new series on September 28th.
