In Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll need more than just your magical staff and slick armor set, like Curios. These are equipable items that provide the Chosen One with many interesting buffs. Some allow you to increase your defense, while others change how a spell works. Many of them make way for interesting builds, but since there is a plethora of them, picking the right ones might be hard. To make it easier for you, we’ve gathered a list of the ten best curious you can get in Black Myth: Wukong, regardless of your build.
10 Back Scratcher
You’ll quickly notice that stamina is the resource you’ll struggle with the most in Black Myth: Wukong, so having a curio that increases this is ideal. The Back Scratcher is obtainable in Chapter 1 at the shrine of Black Wind Mountain. You won’t miss it, as it’s on the way to the chapter’s final boss. While it doesn’t modify a particular skill, having more stamina is definitely helpful, especially during the first hours.
9 Tridacna Pendant

Black Myth: Wukong Starter GuideThe Tridacna Pendant is one of the best curios in Black Myth: Wukong, especially for those leaning toward a more magic-oriented build. Equipping it will slightly reduce the cooldown of all spells. This is great for whenever you want to spam “Immobilize” on targets or some of the other spells you’ll get in the game. Just remember to manage your mana correctly before casting any of these skills. You must defeat Black Loong to obtain it.
8 Tiger Tally
Contrary to the Tridacna Pendant, the Tiger Tally Curio is perfect for those who just want to spam melee hits. This curio increases your attack after performing a Light Attack Combo. To make this work even better, we recommend getting the talent that allows you to continue a combo even after dodging. If not, you’ll be missing out on a lot of DPS potential. To obtain it, you must defeat Tiger Vanguard in Chapter 2.
7 Fine China Tea Bowl
While the Back Scratcher increases your maximum stamina, the Fine China Tea Bowl increases how fast you recover your stamina. Personally, I prefer this one. Managing stamina is difficult, yes, but even if you have a lot of it, its recovery speed will remain the same. But if you equip the Fine China Tea Bowl, you can circumvent the slow regen rate. To obtain it, you must head to the prison area after defeating Kang-Jin-Long; it is inside a box.
6 Cat Eye Beads
This will be everyone’s first curio, and believe it or not, it is one of the best in Black Myth: Wukong. This one increases your critical hit chance, which might be a confusing stat for some, but it’s useful nonetheless. With enough crit, your weapon will do considerably more damage, and if you manage to combine a good combo with Immobilize, you’ll take a good chunk of an enemy’s HP bar in no time. To find it, you must defeat the Wandering Wight, everyone’s bane, as it is the game’s first boss. We have a guide here to help you beat it.
5 Tablet of the Three Supremes
This curio increases your crit chance when your HP is low. Since most of us tend to be at low HP in most fights, it is nice to hit enemies harder or at least go out with a bang. To get it, you must open a chest after defeating Captain Beetle. It should be near the area, so you don’t have to look far to obtain this item.
4 Agate Jar
One might not think that a simple curio that increases defense deserves to be on this list, but sometimes simple things work better. Obtainable during Chapter 1 near the Black Wind King fight, this curio increases your defense. You might not use it during the game’s late chapter, but it is a welcome addition if you’re starting your adventure and getting your chosen butt handed to you.
3 Goldflora Hairpin
For those who want to have as much currency as possible in Black Myth: Wukong, the Goldflora Hairpin is one of the best curios you can get. It increases the Will you receive by defeating enemies, which makes it a great addition to your arsenal. To obtain it, you have to complete the Man-in-Stone questline, which you can start during Chapter 2 after defeating the King of Flowing Sands and Second Rat Prince.
2 Auspicious Lantern
This is one of the missable curios in Black Myth: Wukong, so you should pay attention when it’s the chance to get it. Before we delve into what it does, you need to wait until reaching Chapter 3 and wait for the Chosen One to become beguiled. In this state, you must defeat nine Lantern Warderns before facing the Captain Wise-Voice boss. This curio enhances your Cloud Step spell by increasing its damage but reducing your HP.
1 Celestial Registry Tablet
Lastly, we have the Celestial Registry Tablet, which increases the experience you get by defeating enemies. It is an excellent trinket to have if you want to power-level. However, you must find the Purple Cloud Mountain area in Chapter 4, which is quite tricky. However, once you find it, travel to the Bounds of Deity’s Abode shrine, where the curio will be down the path inside a box guarded by an enemy.
And there you go, these are the best curios you can get in the game. There are many more hidden in Black Myth: Wukong‘s perilous lands, but these should work in most builds. And even if you’re not aiming for a specific build and just want to wing it, these should suffice. Still, we encourage you to try different combinations until you find some that suit your playstyle.
