343 Industries has been under fire from fans for several months now. Ranging from incomplete multiplayer offerings to slim customization settings, some are upset at the direction Halo Infinite landed. Yet, 343 is committed to bringing Halo Infinite to the level fans want. Promising both the level creator Forge and multiplayer campaign this year, many people wonder why it took so long in the first place. Touting the title as a live service game brings some expectations for what that should be. While the game has received new modes and weekly events, it has never been a significant addition to the Halo Infinite gameplay experience. Yet, after showcasing a trailer for the upcoming season 2, many still wondered about the new maps. Set to release alongside the season, these new areas would provide a change of scenery. Showcased in a brand new trailer today from 343 is a map preview of the two upcoming areas Halo Infinite players will fight on in Season 2.

Why Did 343 Release The Halo Infinite’s Season 2 Map Preview?
Fans have long since anticipated the arrival of the second Halo Infinite season. With two new maps joining the rotation, there will be even more chaos. Unlike other wide-range maps in Halo Infinite, Catalyst looks to have a linear style. Yet, the base maintains the verticality of forerunner structures. Placing weapons and items across the outpost is key to a healthy range of diverse map play and strategy. Breaker is the all-new big team battle map that many fans have been expecting. Its setting pits Halo players in the gigantic Banished shipyard. While these maps will launch with Season 2 on May 3rd, the preview is a nice look to tide fans over for another two weeks.
