Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is finally here after two years of delay. The game looks fresh, brings the Warzone experience to mobile devices, and is expected to kick Call of Duty up a notch in the mobile gaming industry. However, this game doesn’t target every audience and comes with its own shortcomings.

Why Should You Play Warzone Mobile?

There are many reasons why you should choose Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile in your free time. Different game modes, better graphics, and exclusive rewards are the only tip of WZM‘s iceberg.

1. Full Warzone Experience on The Go

First and foremost, the best feature of a mobile game is that you can play it anywhere you go. Waiting for your flight at the airport? Not a problem! You can always jump into the Warzone action now with the release of WZM. Not to mention that you won’t need a giant iPad window on your backpack to play the game since it’s also available on Android and iOS phones.

2. Better Graphics Than CoDM and Most Other Mobile Shooters

Call of Duty: Mobile was a blast. The game was record-breaking and ground-shaking and changed the mobile gaming community forever. Now that Warzone Mobile is out, though, it offers a more advanced gameplay experience with much better graphics. WZM brings forth a high-quality Warzone experience that looks stunning on mobile devices.

3. Returning Warzone Maps & Free Multiplayer Mode

If there’s one primary reason for the Warzone players community to jump into Warzone Mobile, it’s the return of Verdansk and Rebirth Island. The iconic Warzone 2020 maps are available now on your phones and tablets, while the PC and console versions of the game don’t have them. More importantly, there’s a free Multiplayer mode in this game, which is the best way to level up weapons, complete weekly challenges, and grind swiftly without paying $70 to buy MW3.

4. Exclusive Rewards

The introduction of the cross-progression system with Warzone Mobile is surely a step forward. Anything in the Call of Duty HQ shares full progression, which includes operators, weapons, levels, and the seasonal Battle Pass. However, there are events in Warzone Mobile that are not available in Warzone and MW3 right now. The Day Zero event, for example, is WZM exclusive, giving you free blueprints and operator skins that you can later use in other shared progression games as well.

Warzone Mobile is a fun experience, of course. But this game, like many others, has its flaws and issues that prevent it from being everyone’s choice.

1. Not Fully Optimized, At Least Not Yet

While Warzone Mobile looks and plays great on most iOS devices, if you own an Android, your machine is probably not compatible. This means that you either can’t even download the game from the Google Play Store, or you’ll run the game at low FPS, making it harder to compete with other players.

2. Lags and Blurry Graphics on Most Devices

Now if you manage to play Warzone Mobile on whatever device that you have, lags and game crashes are a part of the stretch. Warzone Mobile has launched for a few days, and many bugs and lag issues need to be solved by the next updates. This also includes the blurry graphics you’d get while running the game on Android devices.

3. Even Compatible Phones Overheat Playing Warzone Mobile

Adding more firewood to the issues, Warzone Mobile turns your phone into an oven if you’re planning to bake anything on your device. An hour of playing the game equals a burning overheat of any phone I’ve tested so far, no matter if it’s an Android or iOS device.

4. Hard Gameplay For Touch Screen Players

The developers have surely tried to make Warzone Mobile look and feel like it’s a mobile game. But since it’s been ported through the same IW 9.0 engine of PC and console Call of Duty games, the gameplay feels a lot more different from other mobile shooters. There are a lot of buttons, and you certainly need more than 4 fingers if you want to compete against the ones using their controllers in the lobby.
