There are many people out there who aren’t the biggest fans of Taylor Swift, especially given her ties to the football community through her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Of course, there’s also everything that happened with Ticketmaster prior to the Eras tour that forced nearly 60% of the fans who signed up for pre-registration to the back of the digital line only to be told that there is, “insufficient remaining ticket inventory,”. Now, it looks like one “fan” decided to take things into his own hands by purchasing a signed guitar with her face on it, only to smash it with a hammer seconds later.
The video was posted to Reddit by user yftdddtf and shows an older gentleman walking towards a podium while an announcer holds both a hammer and the guitar in the air. The first gentleman then proceeds to take the hammer and strike it against the body of the guitar, seemingly over the printed faces of the singer. I’m sure you’re wondering why he did this, and so is every commentator in the replies, with one saying,
Regardless of his intention, the money was donated to the cause the auction was for. The show he gave the audience was just an additional gift to everyone there.
There are other comments that absolutely rip the gentleman apart for his decisions from purchasing the guitar in the first place to smashing it with a hammer when he could have used the floor.
Others in the audience screamed for him to use the guitar on the floor, but he clearly didn’t. I don’t think he would have been able to do it just because of how winded he looked immediately afterward. Honestly, he probably should have saved that money and gone to get a physical done at the doctor’s.
