Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is finally in the hands of the players. You might have reached the endgame, and are ready to take the fight to Brainiac himself. Rocksteady Studios has already announced plans for the Joker to be the first additional playable character, coming in March. At the end of the game, three more chapters are teased for future DLC. So, let’s take a look at five DC characters that would be great for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s DLC.
Bane
As a major Batman villain and Arkhamverse mainstay, Bane would be perfect for Kill the Justice League. The Titan-addicted supervillain kicked his habit and returned home after Batman: Arkham City which leaves him open for a possible return. His large physique and strength would allow him to carry heavy weapons like King Shark, and his Venom serum is already an affliction in the game. Bane’s Infamy gear is also the first set of endgame gear. So, even though he hasn’t appeared yet, Bane is already all over Suicide Squad.
Batman (Thomas Wayne)
A tragic take on one of DC’s finest, Thomas Wayne’s Batman would be an excellent DLC character for Suicide Squad. The Flashpoint version of the Caped Crusader, Thomas Wayne watched as his son Bruce was gunned down in Crime Alley. This version of Batman uses guns, so he wouldn’t be out of place raining hellfire down on Brainiac’s forces. Plus, he’s a fan-favorite character and his Flashpoint skin was one of the alternate Batman skins in the previous Arkham titles.
Killer Frost
Killer Frost is a metahuman who is often a villain, and she is occasionally a member of the Suicide Squad. You might know a version of the character from Batman: Assault on Arkham or from The Flash series where Danielle Panabaker played her. Frost’s abilities allow her to spread cold and freeze her enemies. These powers are already used as an affliction in Kill the Justice League, so adding a character from the Suicide Squad with those powers would make for a great pairing.
Livewire
It’s about time we had a character from Metropolis on this list. Shock jock Leslie Willis turned into the villainous Livewire after being struck by lightning, giving her the power to control electricity. Of course, Livewire’s abilities are already an affliction in Suicide Squad, electrifying your weapons. So, she would fit right in. Her movement and traversal abilities could be similar to some of the characters from the Infamous games, which would be better than some of the movement abilities already in the game.
Red Hood
The semi-reformed villain, Jason Todd, would be a no-brainer DLC character for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Todd went by Red Hood at the end of Batman: Arkham Knight, leaving the name Arkham Knight behind him. Not only is he the only member of the Bat Family who uses guns, but he was also directly referenced in the game by Bruce Wayne. Plus, we would get some heated interactions between him and Harley Quinn, who tortured Jason before Arkham Asylum, alongside the Joker.
