In the futuristic world of Cyberpunk 2077, trading is an integral part of the gameplay. The currency you receive during the game will be extremely important, as it will help you improve your character and stats. So next, we will tell you about 6 things you should never buy in Cyberpunk 2077, which, in turn, will help you save some money. The game has many merchants who will gladly offer their items in exchange for your Eurodollars, so it is essential to make the right choice. Check out the information below to understand exactly what you shouldn’t buy to save your money.

In fact, most of the things that merchants sell are common around the world, and you can get them without spending currency. By carefully exploring different locations, you will come across a bunch of loot that you can take with you and not buy from merchants, but rather sell to them. So, let’s take a look at the things that you definitely shouldn’t buy from merchants.

6. Junk

It may look weird because it is logical that no one needs junk, but many players still manage to buy it in the hope of something useful. Never do this because it is unlikely that you will find cool things among the junk and just waste your currency. Instead, you can pick up the junk yourself if you feel like it. In Night City, you can find it in almost every corner, so there’s no sense in buying it from vendors. The only thing you really need junk for is either to sell it to the same merchants to make some money, or to break it down into components for crafting, which is also quite useful. In all other cases, we don’t recommend buying or carrying around junk because it just takes up space in your inventory.

5. Clothing

Clothing is similar to junk because it has almost no use, and you can find it yourself while exploring the world. Of course, you may want to buy it to change your style but know that you can find the same outfit later somewhere else without spending precious Eurodollars. Since clothes don’t add any bonuses or benefits to your character, there’s no point in buying them, and it’s better to save your currency for something more useful.

4. Most Healing Items

When you come to a merchant who sells medicines, you will probably be shocked by the large selection. In fact, there is no point in buying all these healing items because most of them will not bring you much benefit. The main medicinal items that we definitely recommend buying are:

  • MaxDocs
  • Bounce Backs

All other healing items are pointless, as you will find a lot of them as you explore the world, complete missions, and kill enemies. So, it’s better to save your currency for something more useful.

3. Alcohol And Food

Alcohol and food can be compared to healing items, but at a lower level because they don’t restore your health by much. Considering that keeping food in your inventory takes up space, you also spend a lot of time eating it. Instead of buying and carrying food and alcohol in your inventory, use a more useful method. When you see food or alcohol somewhere, eat or drink it right away. This way, you won’t need to spend money, clog up space in your inventory, and spend a lot of time using these consumables.

2. Ammo

Many gamers, while playing other games, have established a golden rule: there should always be enough ammunition. This tip is really useful, but you shouldn’t buy ammo from merchants because you can easily get it by looting enemies. This way, you can find a lot of ammo of different caliber to have enough for any weapon. If you are accurate enough to avoid wasting a lot of ammo on one enemy, you can almost always get more out of them than you spent. Use this advice and you can significantly reduce your costs.ย

If you find a cool-looking weapon that you really want to buy, don’t rush. In most cases, traders will not have good and rare weapons at low prices. Just like ammo, you can get plenty of weapons by looting and killing enemies, so it’s better to use this method. Instead, save up more currency to have the opportunity to buy some legendary weapons and kill enemies without any extra effort.
