You can get 7 Days To Die Lockpicks from several different container types such as sedans, Junk, Garbage Piles, and suitcases. In other cases, they can be found in working stiffs crates, or the player can craft them at a workbench once they have one skill point in lockpicking and have read The Great Heist Book. Once you got all of that unlocked, to craft Lockpicks, you are going to need the following materials listed below:

  • 1 Forge Iron
  • 1 Mechanical part

Getting both of these materials is relatively easy and for the first resource you will need to craft 7 Days To Die Lockpicks is Forge Iron. You can get Forge Iron by melting down either scrap Iron or Iron ore. To get Iron ore you will need to harvest Iron ore veins/boulders that can be found off to the side of roads, etc. To get Scrap Iron, you will need to scrap harvestable objects/blocks by left-clicking on them with a wrench tool.

Once you gather up some iron, take it back to your forge, and after melting it down, you should now be able to craft Forge Iron Bars. Moving on, the next resource you will need to get to craft 7 Days To Die Lockpicks is Mechanical parts. The player can get Mechanical Parts by scraping several harvestable objects/blocks in the game world by left-clicking them with a Wrench tool like with Scrap Iron. If you check the list below, you will see all of these scrappable objects/blocks listed below. As a side note, some of these will also give Scrap Iron.

  • Gas Pump
  • Air Conditioners
  • Gas Stations
  • File Cabinets
  • Trolley
  • Non/Destroyed Cement Mixer
  • Car Wreck
  • Damaged Sedan
  • Garage Door
  • Wall Safe
  • Desk Safe
  • Shopping Cart
  • Reinforced Drawbridge
  • Blade and Dart Traps
  • Non/Destroyed Generator Bank

Now, once you get an efficient amount of both materials, you will need to do next is either find or craft a workbench, and you can do this by leveling your advanced engineering skill to level two. Afterwards, the workbench can be crafted with the following materials listed below. After this you will then have everything you need in order to craft 7 Days To Die Lockpicks.

  • 25 Forge Iron
  • 20 Mechanical Parts
  • 1 Wrench
  • 1 Claw Hammer
  • 50 Wood

Lastly, Lockpicks typically sell for 20 Dukes. Meanwhile, players can purchase Lockpicks from traders for 300 Dukes.

That’s everything on how to get 7 Days To Die Lockpicks. We hope you found this guide useful and if you did, be sure to let us know in the comments below. That’s all for now, be safe out there survivors!
