Is 90 Day Fiancé Usman Umar’s visa in jeopardy? Well, we will get right to the good stuff. Yes, yes it is. Furthermore, the reason why will certainly blow your mind. Sorry kids, we gotta get there first. Soooo, many of you know Usman Umar and his (weird) relationship with Kim Menzies. A relationship where he keeps insisting he has multiple wives. Man, writing about this dude is never boring. It’s so funny he’s on Happily Ever After when that just isn’t the case yet. Anyway, a new preview of the show reveals Umar having some green card issues.
On top of this, he cannot even visit Nigeria until all this is worked out. He had told his family he would see them many times a year, but his lawyer schooled him on that not being possible. So where is he now? Just you wait…
Is 90 Day Fiancé Usman Umar’s Visa in Jeopardy?
Via Screenrant:
Usman and Kim are seen speaking to an immigration attorney about his current status. Usman is shocked at first to learn that it will take six to eight months to even secure the fiancé visa but is even more so when he learns that his desire to have a second wife could stop all of his plans. “There’s a law against polygamy,” the immigration attorney explains. “I don’t know if you guys know that. So in other words, in the United States, you can’t marry more than one woman.” Usman’s previous marriage to fan-despised first wife Lisa ended in divorce before any discussions of adding a second wife to the marriage, so Usman is caught off guard by the information that he could lose his Green Card by engaging in polygamy.
Is 90 Day Fiancé Usman Umar’s visa in jeopardy? Yes, yes it is. Moreover, it is in jeopardy because he himself is insisting on having multiple wives. Little did he know polygamy is not wholly legal everywhere. Meaning his inability to keep his trousers on may have just cost him his freedom. It’s Alanis’s levels of irony, we know.
So now the waiting game begins to see just how badly he messed his life up. Again.
