Natsume Inc., a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, hasย launched two all-new downloadable content packs forย Harvest Moon: The Lost Valleyย for Nintendo 3DS.ย Each contains a new marriageable candidate, as well as new customization options for the main character. Both DLC packs are available now for $1.49 on the 3DS eShop.

Speaking about the new Harvest Moon DLC,ย Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume, has said:

“As the first Harvest Moon with DLC, we were able to provide new life to the game ever since its launch in November.ย Fans who haven’t heard the ring of wedding bells yet now have a pair of new candidates to woo and marry, along with other special treats.”

Two new residents have moved to Hillsville: Luke, an herbalist, and Andrea, a clocksmith. Each come with their own set of quests and requests, along with romantic events. This new downloadable content is the fourth set of released DLC packs, the previous of which includes additional crops and flowers, new outfits and hairstyles, along with new decorations and a builder’s set.

In addition, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley launches on June 19th in European territories, published by Rising Star Games. And farmers who enjoy classic Harvest Moon titles can also celebrate the launch of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town on the North American Wii U eShop.

The new DLC comes not long after Natsume Inc announced a new sequel for the game, titled Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories, which will be available for Wii U, PC,ย iOS and Android. As The Nerd Stash covered at the time, Hiro Maekawa said of the sequel:

โ€œFrom the farm to the town, we wanted Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories to evoke the feeling of a classic Harvest Moon game with modern twists.ย Weโ€™re also excited to finally bring the Harvest Moon series to the Nintendo Wii U, PC, and mobile platforms, where fans have definitely told us they want to see the series.โ€

The new DLC for The Lost Valley is available now, and Seeds of Memories will be released some time this winter.
