New Killing Floor 2 Update Makes Players Walk The Plank

Avast ye landlubbers! A new Killing Floor 2 update that is pirate-themed launches today called Perilous Plunder and it will bring a whole host of new features to the game. Now let’s raise the jolly roger and dive into this update news.

The Perilous Plunder update for Killing Floor 2 brings several new features with a new community map being at the forefront. This map is dubbed Desolation and has some surprises in store for players such as multiple levels playable across Killing Floor 2’s popular game modes. Summer zeds will also be making a return to the game with two brand new Matriarch seasonal summer variants. 

Players will also have extra firepower to face these nasty summer bosses in the form of two new weapons: the HRG Kaboomstick for the Demolitionist and the HRG Telauncher for the Berserker. Several pirate theme cosmetics have also been added with The Perilous Plunder update for Killing Floor 2. That said, you can find everything that has been added with the update in the list below.

Full Killing Floor 2: Perilous Plunder update highlights:

New Map:

  • Desolation: A New Featured Community Map
  • Supports weekly, endless, survival, and V.S. game modes
  • Contains optional mini-games for players to enjoy

Weapons:

  • 2 New HRG Weapons
  • Demolitionist: HRG Kaboomstick 
  • Berserker: HRG Telauncher 

Cosmetics:

  • New space pirate themed cosmetics have been added that Includes: masks, hats, armbands, helmets, backpacks, and more. These have also been added to the Summer Sideshow Seasonal Ticket Drops.
  • Returning Vault skins: Five Vault Stars themed weapon skins make a return from previous events in Perilous Plunder.
  • A new Space Pirate Outfit is also available for purchase. This outfit is equipable by either male or female characters and has five texture variants, including hat and mask accessories.

 Enemies:

  • New Matriarch summer variations
  • Returning summer zeds from previous events

In addition to everything that gets added with the Killing Floor 2: Perilous Plunder update, premium sideshow tickets, the Neon MKVI skin bundle, The Retro Neon Gear Bundle, and The Future Neon Gear Bundle all make a return today. Also, two new weapons are now for purchase: the Glock 18 for the Gunslinger class and the Blunderbuss for the Support class.Killing Floor 2: Perilous Plunder update is out later today for PlayStation 4,  Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Also to celebrate the launch of Killing Floor 2: Perilous Plunder Tripwire Interactive will be sharing news about various digital sale offers via Facebook and Twitter.
