Publisher Headup has surprised indie fans with four major game reveals in the first two days of the Guerrilla Collective event.

Guerrilla Collective is an online digital games festival that features reveals, announcements, and trailers of new games from a wide variety of developers and publishers. The event is hosted by Greg Miller, a public personality in the gaming community thanks to his work at IGN and Kinda Funny. Both indie developers and AAA publishers are showing their work on the 13th through the 15th.

On the first day of Guerrilla Collective, Headup announced Cardaclysm. Developed by Elder Games, Cardaclysm is a roguelike card game RPG where you collect cards and battle the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Subsequently, Headup announced a release date for Colt Canyon during Guerrilla Collective, a top-down wild-west shooter. With stylish pixel art, the game tasks players with fighting their way through a dangerous canyon, picking up some treasure and weapons along the way. You can pick it up on June 16, just a few days from now.

Also announced was Rigid Force Redux, a side-scrolling shoot’em up with a modern art style. In this game, machines and aliens (quite the combo) are waging war against humans, and it is, naturally, your job to blow them all up. What was most exciting about Headup’s reveal was that the game was immediately available for purchase after its presentation at Guerilla Collective wrapped up.

Additionally, Headup announced and made immediately available for purchase Outbuddies DX. Outbuddies DX is a side-scrolling Metroidvania developed by Julian Laufer. As is typical with a Metroidvania, players will explore shoot their way through an environment seeping with secrets. In this case, the environment is an undercity of a lost world filled with strange creatures and remnants of the Old Gods. You also have a robot sidekick named Buddy. And, for me, that’s all they needed to say.

Those are all the games Headup has announced at the Guerrilla Collective. Between all four of these games, there is something for everyone.

Even after Headup’s announcement, there are still two days left of Guerrilla Collective. Make sure to watch and support some indie developers.

What did you think of these announcements? What did you think of Guerilla Collective? Let us know in the comments below!
