Gunfire Reborn, the fantasy-based RPG from the team at Duoyi Interactive Entertainment, released on Steam Early Access last month. With that release, the game is receiving high critical acclaim to this day. It’s such a hit, that the game currently retains the #7 spot in the Steam Top Sellers list. This is huge for the team, given that it’s their first game and it’s already being regarded so highly. To go with that, the game has incredibly positive reviews with an Overwhelmingly Positive rating from over 3000 unique reviews.
Gunfire Reborn is an adventure-based game that has players take on the role of one of a set of heroes. Each hero has their unique abilities, each tailoring to a specific playstyle. As you adventure through the levels, you take on increasingly difficult enemies who prove quite a challenge for players. You don’t have to be alone though, as you can have three of your friends join you for the madness. Gunfire Reborn promises to be an exciting and enjoyable first-person shooter rogue-lite that feels fresh through every playthrough.
Thus far, the team has proven that with these sorts of ratings. It currently sits just below Resident Evil 3, and above games like Deep Rock Galactic and Monster Train in Top Selling. The Steam reviews only further prove that it deserves to be where it’s at. They cite crazy weapons similar to games like Enter the Gungeon, and refined controls that make the game feel great at every turn. Gunfire Reborn has everything going for it, especially with competent developers behind the wheel.
