Song of Horrorย is a survival-horror game in the same vein as Silent Hillย andย Resident Evil. Developed by Protocol Games, the title is published under the Raiser Games banner. What does one with a music box that has no significant markings? And if it looks like nothing special, then why not just open it? Notable writer Sebastian P. Hunter has seemingly vanished in the wind. And along with the writer, his family has also disappeared.

Experience the Song of Horror through various viewpoints. As they put the pieces together, one must follow the clues and solve this mystery. What supernatural force has taken everyone? And is there even a way to stop it?

Song of Horror Console Release Date

Song of Horror

Carlos Grupeli, the co-founder of Protocol Games, is excited to bring the game to consoles. Because of the positive reception on PC, he felt the move to consoles a great decision. “The survival-horror genre has such a history on both PlayStation and Xbox that it feels only right to bring our little ode to all that has gone before to an audience that truly appreciates real scares.”

During its time as a PC game, the survival-horror title gained a loyal fanbase. Released around Halloween last year, it seems that developers are looking to do the same in 2020. Officially, the game is set to release on October 29th this Fall.

Whereย Resident Evilย equipped the player with a gun,ย Song of Horror forces the player into a run-and-hide approach. While it might seem a completely 180 on the ‘survival’ aspect, it should add to the intensity of any playthrough.

Keep an eye out for theย Song of Horrorย console release near Halloween weekend.

Are you looking forward to the game’s console release? Have you played it on PC? What did you think? Let us know in the comments.
