Iron Harvest released recently, bringing a unique setting and some fresh mechanics into a genre that’s been dormant for some time. It appears players think so as well, currently getting a Mostly Positive rating on Steam. It’s a game that looks and feels great, and one that RTS fans have to try. With the game out for just a couple days now, KING Art and Deep Silver want to keep fans in the loop of what they have in store. Today, the team is showing off a roadmap detailing everything you can expect for Iron Harvest this month.

Iron Harvest

For the second week of September, Iron Harvest players can expect a new 3v3 map and co-op functionality in the campaign. Finally, players will be able to play through the entire campaign in co-op, only adding to the fun of the game. The 3v3 map should be fun too, and it’ll be exciting to see where they go with it. Week three brings a new 2v2 map and a Glossary. Not only will 2v2 players have something new to battle across but soon you’ll get a better idea of the game’s lore. Week four skips out on a new map, but brings in Ranked and ability auto-cast. These may not be flashy, but they’re important for the health and longevity of Iron Harvest. Finally, in week five, there’ll be a new 1v1 map. Considering most RTS games are played 1v1, most fans are excited about this one.

A solid lineup of content for those continuing to play Iron Harvest after launch. The development team is showing they’re committed to keeping Iron Harvest fresh with consistent new content. I’m excited about the future of Iron Harvest, and I hope you are too. For now, I’d like to hear your thoughts on this news. Anything you’re hoping for from Iron Harvest in October? What other quality-of-life features would you like to see? Let us know, and stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
