You may recall that last year, Ubisoft revealed a game known as Gods and Monsters. We didn’t get much at E3 2019, besides that the game would be focused on greek mythology. Its cartoonish but beautiful art style looked amazing and did hold a lot of promise. In just over a year, the team has been hard at work making changes and broadening what the game has to offer. Announced at Ubisoft Forward today, Gods and Monsters, now known as Immortals: Fenyx Rising, releases on December 3rd, 2020. You can find the game’s official premiere trailer below.

Immortals Fenyx Rising: Official World Premiere Trailer | Ubisoft Forward 2020 | Ubisoft [NA]

Immortals: Fenyx Rising follows the story of Fenyx, a winged demigod put within an Ancient Greece filled with much peril. The Greek Gods are threatened as one of the greatest evils in Greek mythology seeks to take down the rulers of Greece. Armed with the wings of Daidalos, the sword of Achilles, and the bow of Odysseus, Fenyx must take on the daunting task of saving Greece from this evil. She must travel across the sprawling world, taking on whatever dares to stand in her way. Will she be able to save Greece, or will it and its inhabitants fall? You’ll have to play through Immortals: Fenyx Rising to find out.

At its heart, Immortals: Fenyx Rising an open-world game filled with beautiful setpieces and various characters to meet and face. Every glide across the world will feel like a beautiful trip, and every battle promises to be more exciting than the last. As you traverse the world, you’ll unlock new gear and armor resembling much of Greek mythology. This gear will imbue new powers into Fenyx, giving you new toys and tools to play with.

If you want to know more about the game, you can check out the game’s official site here. Will you be helping gods and slaying monsters in Immortals: Fenyx Rising when it launches in a few months?
