The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the latest entry of the series developed by CD Projekt RED, has received several free DLC packs including new items, new outfits for Yennefer, Triss and Ciri, new quests and more.  Nevertheless, for those who have finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, new DLC can’t come soon enough. Many fans have even been requesting an option to start over with a powered-up Geralt. Well, CD Projekt RED will soon be answering that request, revealing a New Game + mode, effectively doubling your stay in the Northern Realms.

Free DLC Coming Soon!

On their official Facebook page, they announced the news, stating:

Already finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt multiple times? We’ve got something coming up…
New Game+, the final DLC, is on the way and, of course, it’s completely FREE!
Stay tuned for more info regarding the release. It won’t happen this week though – we need a little bit more time to finish it.

You can also read their official Twitter announcement here.

Although this is positive news for fans who want to play the game multiple times, its sad to read that this is the final DLC. Regardless, CD Projekt RED has been generous with the amount of free DLC versus paid DLC (especially when looking at triple A companies), which they should be commended for.  More news on the DLC will be coming soon, so stay tuned!

What do you think about the news? Have you beat The Witcher 3 yet, and are already looking forward to the new DLC? Let us know in the comments below!
