Want to add some adrenaline to your gaming nights? Getting bored of those slow-placed, interactive novels? Then you might want to check this game out! The indie developer Digiplox has recently launched their all-new 2.5D action-platformer, Android Hunter A, on Steam! Set in a cyberpunk-inspired world, you play as an Android Hunter on a mission to save the earth from a robot uprising. With an arsenal of awesome weapons and maneuvering skills, it’s your job to fight through swarms of tyrannical machines and bring down corrupt bosses.

Android Hunter A Features

Android Hunter A Launch Trailer

There are eight stages each with their own unique environmental features and boss fights. As you progress through the game, you will learn new skills and abilities to help you in your cyberpunk crusade.

To save the world from the maniacal robot uprising, you will have to dust off your old-school platforming talents. Each stage will require you to skillfully use dashes, ducks, and jumps to survive the โ€œonslaught of enemy fire”. Also, it has those old-school side-scrolling bosses that might give some of you SNES flashbacks.

Android Hunter A is also fully animated and features immersive in-game cinematics.

No Microtransactions?!

Of course, what would a cyberpunk world be without the ability to customize your gear? With hundreds of unlockable customization options, there is no shortage of personalization in Android Hunter A. If you want to go through the whole game with a horse mask, youโ€™re welcome to do so. Getting tired of the usual cyberpunk look? Put some balloons on your character. No oneโ€™s stopping you.

Oh, by the way, all these options are earned in-game. There are no microtransactions in Android Hunter A. Just how they used to make ’em.

If you want to take your time and immerse yourself in the gameโ€™s futuristic visuals, go right ahead. But for those who are competition-loving speed-runners, thereโ€™s a built-in local and global leaderboard in Android Hunter A. You will be able to race friends and people all around the world. So, go out there and claim your rightful place on that cyberpunk throne!

โ€œAndroid Hunter A is a well-oiled machine of fast-paced action, smooth platforming, and deadly bosses”. Those who are craving some side-scrolling action, definitely check this game out! What is your favorite indie platformer? Are there any hair-pulling bosses that you painfully remember from your childhood? Let me know in the comments!
