Finally, we can let the battle-royale festivities begin! Apex Legends is officially going festive with their latest holiday event, Holo-Day Bash 2020. This event brings a few exciting new additions to the game, including the return of a favorite game mode, new unlockables, and a huge sale.

Respawn Entertainment has set the event to run throughout December and conclude on January 4. It will bring everything you would expect from a Christmas event. The map gets tons of wintery cosmetics and pretty new Christmasy designs to reflect the holiday season.

One of the most striking additions to this Apex Legends update sees the train return in World’s Edge just for Winter Express mode. In this round-based game mode, three teams must battle for control of the train as it travels around the map. Not only that, but an all-new station, Derailment, has been added to the map. Derailment provides “a variety of flanking opportunities and a unique rotation under the bridge where the train stops. This allows you to quickly change which side of the objective you’re attacking.” Respawn said.

Additionally, new supply ships from Kings Canyon are also flying around the frozen explosion below. Thankfully, these additions aim to eliminate the irritating long waiting time to respawn that players experienced when the mode was last live.

Also, Holo-Day Bash brings a rewards track with all-new unlockables throughout the event for players to work towards. Players can earn rewards like Horizon’s Epic Absolute Zero skin simply by playing the game. As well as that, you can even check out the sale, which includes Loba, Revenant, and Spitfire Legendary Skins.

You can play Apex Legends and join the fight now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, and PS4/5!

Will you be jumping into the Apex Legends arena for Holo-Day Bash 2020? Tell me in the comments!
