About Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning
If you’re a fan of RPGs, chances are you’ve already heard of this epic franchise. But just in case you haven’t, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a remaster of the hit role-playing game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It features beautiful visuals and an addicting RPG combat system. Of course, it wouldn’t be an RPG if the main goal of our hero isn’t to save the world. You will journey through a land “torn apart by war”. There will be countless vibrant cities to enjoy and chilling dark dungeons to explore.

Your Story
In Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning you play as the ‘Fateless One’. As your title suggests, it is up to you to decide your own destiny. As you progress through the game, you will be given the opportunity to upgrade your character as you wish. Whether you want to specialize in hand-to-hand combat or be more a generalist, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will give you that option. It is your adventure after all. You will also be given choices through the game. Your choices will affect how your character develops and how others perceive you.
Epic, Epic, Epic
Not only does it have hundreds of hours of role-playing goodness, but Amalur also has deep levels of lore. The world that you will be stepping into has 10,000 years of fictional backstory created by New York Times bestselling author R.A. Salvatore!
If that name isn’t enough to get you excited, Amalur also has the legendary comic book artist Todd MacFarlane and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion designer Ken Rolston under its credits.
It’s been many years since its first release and I still haven’t gotten through most of its content. That’s what I love about epic RPGs. Are you excited about Kingdoms of Amalur coming to the Switch? Let us know in the comments!
