Square Enix has largely been famous for taking forever to port their popular games to other platforms. When it comes to Kingdom Hearts, a series knee-deep in Disney and Final Fantasy characters, it is no exception. In fact, the most popular games in the series just got ported over to Xbox systems just under a year ago. While this may not be the Square Enix port that some fans have been speculating about, it does come as a surprise to have another series catalog on PC. It seems that Square is bringing over the fan-favorite franchise to one of the most requested platforms of all. Announced by the Epic Games Store Twitter, today was the revelation that all Kingdom Hearts PC ports will be exclusively released on the Epic Games Store at the end of March.

📣Just announced📣

The iconic @KINGDOMHEARTS Series is coming to PC for the first time ever on March 30th!

Whilst the series has never seen an actual release on PC before, the games have been playable through some innovative emulation. However, the announcement reveals that the bundles and remix titles will be available. While the names of these games can get very chronologically confusing, it’s important to note all games in the series are being represented. For the first time, players will be able to experience previously mobile-only titles like Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, both originally debuting on Nintendo handhelds. The releases also bring over the newest game, Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, a rhythm game blending the series stories together. The series will collectively drop on March 30th, with each game being priced at $60 and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix priced at just $50. While the rereleases do not reflect recent prices on Sony’s platform, you can expect future Epic Games Store sales to drive these prices down sooner or later.

So will you be picking up Kingdom Hearts when it launches on PC in late March? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
