With Week 4 of Fortnite’s Season 7 now live, you may be on the way to finishing the Epic Quests and wonder – how do I destroy hiding places in Fortnite? If you’re wanting to gain a lot of XP very quickly, these challenges are among the best ways to do that. This week’s Epic Quests mostly center around new content that has been added in patch 17.10. These involve the new alien visitors to Fortnite and the associated things that have come with them such as Abductors, the Mothership, and parasite-infected animals. The quest to destroy hiding places actually has nothing to do with new content and involves destroying hideouts, which have been in Fortnite for quite some time. Here’s how to do it as quickly as possible.

How to Destroy Hiding Places in Fortnite

What Are Hiding Places In Fortnite and Where Can I Find Them?

Hiding places, or ‘hideouts’ as you may know them, are the objects you can hide within in Fortnite. Examples of these include haystacks, port-o-potties, dumpsters, and phone booths. To destroy these, you simply need to equip your pickaxe and hit them until they are destroyed. For this week’s Epic Quest you just need to do this three times at any of the various locations around the map.

The Best Place to Destroy Three Hiding Places

One location that has an abundance of hiding places is Pleasant Park. If you drop in here and head to the east side, near the gas station you will quickly be able to knock out the three hiding places required for the Epic Quest. The gas station has one dumpster behind it and a port-o-potty on its north side. From there you can head south about 75 meters and come across a building with another dumpster on its west side. If you have any trouble finding these hiding places or prefer videos, you can check out this clip by YouTuber Perfect Score for a recap of the hiding places I just described.
