The third installment of the Dark Souls franchise now has a release date. In a new trailer by Bandai Namco, it was revealed that Dark Souls III will be coming out in April 2016. Both Japan and North America players can expect to die many more times as the game is expected to release in both regions within the same time frame.

Dark Souls III promises to have more of the action of the first two games. The game will also be featuring some player requested features. Some of the features include new tools and options. However, the major new feature will be the new skills system. This system will add attack modifiers to each weapon type and allowing for a deeper RPG-style experience.

Dark Souls III, like its predecessor, will allow players to fast travel from the start of the game. There will also let players reallocate their stats so they can easily experiment with new builds or undo unwanted leveling choices. At the current time, Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki isn’t sure on how he wants to allow players to reallocate souls by using an item or not, but there will be a way to do it in the final game.

Dark Souls III is will be released on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
