While it does not matter which platform you choose, Twitter and Instagram have very quick follower growth rates. Ultimately, it is a personal preference! You will also want to start as soon as possible so that you have more time to grow the platform.
Once you have started a social media account, you will need to actively post to your account. However, you do not want to spam your social media timeline with the same content either! Posting a variety of content, especially in the beginning, will help you grow steadily.
You will continue to gain followers as you age up. You will also increase in fame as you become more popular, which will help boost your follower count. The two go hand-in-hand and will help you grow as long as you do not lose a substantial amount of fame.
