A Bioshock Collection has appeared on Raru, a South African retailer, allegedly dating the games release date for this November.

Little other details are listed in the post so we can only speculate as the what content could be included?
When 2K games were asked to comment about the game, they replied;
“2K doesn’t respond to rumours or speculation”
Further indication that this rumor could be true has been fulled by the removal of the original Bioshock from the IOS store. 2K spoke directly to IGN, stating that the removal is purely down to technical issues.
“BioShock is currently incompatible with iOS versions 8.4 and higher, and as such, is temporarily removed for purchase from the App Store. 2K is fixing the compatibility issue, and when resolved, will place BioShock back on the App Store for purchase. Customers who already own BioShock may continue playing the game with iOS version 8.3 or earlier. 2K regrets the initial customer service error and looks forward to delivering an updated version of BioShock for iOS in the near future.”
Is this the truth or are they attempting to restrict access to the original game to build hype for the rumored compilation?
Bioshock launched in 2007 and gained great critical reception at the time. Set in an alternate timeline in the under water city of Rapture, the game blended horror and sci-fi elements perfectly to create one of the games of the generation. The sequel, Bioshock 2, allowed you to play as a Big Daddy character from the first game and was set years before to original outing. The game received less that favorable reviews but the DLC, Minerva’s Den, is seen as one of the best expansions to date.

In 2013 Bioshock Infinite launched and once again received outstanding reviews. This time the setting was the floating city of Columbia and you were on a mission to find and save the mysterious girl Elizabeth who had been kidnapped.
With the closure of Irrational Games, who created the series, shortly after the release of Bioshock Infinite, this could be the last Bioshock game we’ll see for a while.
Would you be interesting in revisiting the world of Rapture or Columbia again? Would you expect a remastered version of all three mains games in the series? Add in the brilliant DLC for Bioshock 2 and equally interesting DLC for Infinite and this could be a great early Christmas present.
