Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will not have a single player campaign for the PlayStation 3 and
The official Call of Duty blog outlined why the past generation consoles will be lacking features.
“The Black Ops 3 PS3 and
Xbox 360 versions will feature Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay only, not Campaign. The ambitious scope of the 1-4 player coop Campaign design of the PS4,Xbox One and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware.”
Other than the single player campaign, the game will be missing the new Weapon Paint Shop, and new eSports tools. These features will be exclusive to PlayStation 4,

On top of that, it will offer the new Zombies mode called “Shadows of Evil,” which will have a 1940‘s film-noir inspired theme.
