If you’re a fan of classics, you’ve heard of the Castlevania games. Since 1995, the title has steadily gained several fans. But now, a new release may see the fanbase reinvigorated. Thanks to Konami, multiple titles are set to be re-released together. Are you ready to get back to the adventure in Castlevania Advance Collection?
Castlevania Advance Collection Release Date and Features
Originally, the titles were all released to GBA in 2001, 2002, and 2003 respectively. The games included in the release are:
- Castlevania: Circle of The Moon – this title tells the story of Nathan Graves in 1830 and his encounter with Dracula. Will you be able to ensure Graves achieves his goal? Or will you die trying?
- Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance – also in the Castlevania Advance Collection is this story. Juste Belmont, the grandson of Simon Belmont, explores Dracula’s castle with his friend Maxim. But what sinister secrets do the stones of this castle hold? And what does it mean for the friends?
- Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow – in the distant future, Soma Cruz inherits power because of his connection to Dracula. He is destined to be the undead vampire’s latest vessel. What does this mean for humanity? And are the Belmonts around to stop him?
We also know that Castlevania: Dracula X, originally released on the SNES, will also be part of the Castlevania Advance Collection. Fans of the Castlevania games can look forward to button mapping, quick save, and a special rewind function. Included is an encyclopedia to help players learn about each game more in-depth. Also, gain access to art that wasn’t available previously. Additionally, players can record their runs and review where they went right or wrong.
The game is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Steam, and Xbox One.
