Skyrim: Special Edition has today launched its November 22 update on all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. As we just got the release of the Anniversary Edition, it only makes sense that the team would at least do some tweaking and bug fixing to improve the game. That seems to be what’s been done here, with some bug fixes made across various parts of the game. It’s nothing major, as to be expected, but it’s a set of good updates nonetheless. We’ll be sure to let you know once more bug fixes are on the way. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with the November 22 update for Skyrim: Special Edition!

Note: We’ll be listing the Steam version of these patch notes at the bottom of this article, but for the source of the changes made to other platforms, head over to the official Bethesda Discord.

  • Fixed an entitlement issue that occurred when purchasing the Anniversary Edition upgrade on PS4 and then switching to PS5.
  • Fixed an issue where catching a fish wouldnโ€™t trigger the appropriate animation on PS4.
  • Fixed a problem preventing some doors in Rielle from opening properly.
  • Fixed an issue where Russian and Polish notes were not displaying text properly.
  • Fixed an issue where German and French players were given incorrect menu text when leveling up.
  • Fixed an issue where players were experiencing a โ€œblack screenโ€ and upon launching.

As you can see, this isn’t anything super crazy. Still, the black screen issues and entitlement issues regarding the Anniversary Edition are great fixes to see. Given these can be quite catastrophic for several reasons, the faster they’re gone, the better.

Skyrim: Special Edition is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms. For more information regarding this update, check out the official Steam blog post.
