Mark Ruffalo Bringing Hulk Into Thor: Ragnarok

It’s not been easy for Marvel’s favourite green rage monster in the MCU. Since the release of the release of the Incredible Hulk, the- less than- jolly green giant hasn’t had another solo movie. Instead, he’s had to settle for appearing among the Avengers in the team’s two outings to date. And while a new solo movie isn’t going to be happening anytime soon, Banner and his alter-ego will not have to wait until Infinity War to appear again.

‘Hulk listening…’

Over the last week or so, there have been rumblings that Hulk might be guest-starring in Thor: Ragnarok. This will be the God of Thunder’s third solo film. It is also likely to be heavily tied into ‘Infinity War’ given that Thor was last seen leaving to investigate the appearance of the infinity stones.

Banner’s appearance in Thor: Ragnarok was nothing but a rumour until now. The sheer amount of rumors flooding the internet about superhero movies is pretty staggering. But  Variety has confirmed the green rage monster’s inclusion in Thor: Ragnarok with the news that Ruffalo is in final negotiations for his appearance.

Of course, this raises a new raft of questions. The last time we saw Hulk, he was flying off in a cloaked Quinjet at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron. The final scenes of the film revealed that he’d bailed out at some point before the plane was found; resuming his life on the run. The biggest new question that people will be wondering is, just how will Hulk make it to Asgard? Unlike Cap or Iron Man, Thor’s adventures tend to take place across the universe. Will it be some scheme of Loki? Loki’s stealth takeover of Asgard will need to be addressed in Thor: Ragnarok. Will Loki bring the green Avenger to Asgard to try and get revenge for their last face to face encounter?

More as it happens. What do you think? Let us know!
