This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Between chicken pox and broken hearts, BitLife often hurts. Endure the hardships the digital world throws at you, however, and you might just climb to the top of your very own corporation. It takes years of education, hard work, and maybe a few friends in the right places to land a job as CEO. Although you can try to pivot later in life, you’ll have an easier time climbing the corporate ladder if you set your sights on it from the beginning. At least it beats being a tortured artist. Here’s how to become a CEO in BitLife.

Education and corporate jobs on the way to becoming CEO in BitLife

It’s easy for things to go wrong in BitLife after a few bad choices, so you’ll need your priorities straight if becoming CEO is your goal. The climb up the corporate ladder will take most of your character’s life, often ending shortly before you retire and start pushing daisies. Education is the foundation of your career, so study hard as a kid to prepare. Here’s what you need to do next:

  • Study hard during your childhood years and get good grades
  • Attend university and choose a business major such as marketing, finance, or economics
  • If your character isn’t wealthy enough to pay for school, a high Smarts stat can help you apply for a scholarship to cover your tuition
  • After graduating, apply to business school
  • Complete the business program to become eligible for corporate jobs

Jobs After Graduation

Congrats, you’re halfway there. After graduating, you’ll need to apply for a job labeled “Corporate.” This includes jobs such as Jr. Business, Operations, or Financial Analyst. From there, you have a life of white-collar drudgery to look forward to. Continue to perform well and receive promotions, however, and you’ll hit CEO before retirement. Hopefully, it won’t take too much backstabbing along the way. Here’s what the rest of the corporate job path looks like:

  • Sr. Business, Operations, or Financial Analyst
  • Assistant Vice President (requires 15 years of Corporate experience)
  • Vice President
  • Executive Vice President
  • Managing Director
  • CEO

You’ll get promoted faster by applying for positions on the full-time job list. If you’re lucky, you can shorten the journey to CEO by several years this way. It’s typical for it to take several decades to become a CEO in BitLife, but at least you’ll be set up for retirement when it comes. Enjoy your time in the Bahamas.
