The Epic Games Store changes its games every Thursday, and this is Thursday is no different! Last week the team gave away survival RPG Windbound, which follows a young girl who must return to her tribe while surviving the harsh, unfamiliar wastes that befell her. While we here at The Nerd Stash didn’t give it the greatest reception as far as gameplay goes, perhaps there’s something you can find out of it to make it something great for you. Regardless, with that game gone, Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons has joined the Epic Games Store free offerings this week to provide a nice classic for those who want it. And next week, you can expect to find the critically acclaimed RPG Cris Tales swapping out for Brothers as your next free game!

Brothers A Tale of Two Sons Epic Games Store Free game

Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons, for those otherwise unaware, comes from the mind of Josef Fares. That name may not be familiar to you, though in the modern-day he’s the head of Hazelight Studios, the developers of A Way Out and It Takes Two. He also has some interesting words to offer regarding The Oscars, but that’s beside the point. Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons follows the story of two boys (who you control together) that must find a cure for their ailing father, whose condition isn’t looking better anytime soon. The elusive “Water of Life” can cure him, but the journey to collect such a resource is a tumultuous one. One that’s sure to test the boy’s siblinghood and problem-solving skills. The question is, can you lead them to their father’s salvation?

This new free Epic Games Store game can be yours now until this time next week when it will be swapped out. Will you be trying Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons? Are you excited to play Cris Tales? Let me know!
