Tickets will be available starting November 20, 2015. While this seems quite early, past experience has proven that Vocaloid concert tickets tend to sell out extraordinarily quickly.

Miku Hatsune has appeared several times in the West for concerts such as this, notably in 2011 at the Mikunopolis concert in Los Angeles. The event was so popular that tickets sold out months before Vocaloid even performed, as one of the many Miku Hatsune Facebook pages posted, “MIKUNOPOLIS in LOS ANGELES’s tickets are sold out!? just found on Twitter… wow…” The post was made in May 2011, and the concert itself took place in July that year.

Mikunopolis featured a live band and holographic performers for the songs.

Finally, the winning entry of an international songwriting contest will be performed by Miku during the expo. The contest ran from August 26 to October 19. The winner has not yet been announced.
