Dying Light 2 has today launched its 1.31 update across PC and PlayStation platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. If you were a tad confused, the Xbox version of patch 1.31 will be out as soon as the submission process over there is complete. To put that into English, you can expect the update in the next week or two. As for what’s being included in this update, a series of bug fixes have been made so the quality of the game should’ve naturally gone up. That isn’t anything exciting but hey, no one’s going to complain about free fixes. Without further ado, here’s everything new with Dying Light 2 in its 1.31 update!

Dying Light 2 Update 1.31 Patch Notes

dying light 2 sales survival horror game

  • Fixed the problem in which players sometimes ended up in the “prologue” area even though they had already finished the prologue and progressed to Villedor.
  • Fixed the problem in which players could not rest in safe zones because of the frozen daytime
  • Fixed various connectivity issues

As you can see, there isn’t much that’s too exciting for the game. Those who find themselves stuck in the prologue despite being done with the prologue don’t have to worry anymore, as you can finally progress into Villedor and experience all it has to offer. Following that up, those who found themselves unable to sleep due to the unending, dreadful days of the Dying Light world will find themselves much happier now. Finally, several standard connectivity issues, likely related to co-op, have been appropriately tackled. If that’s something that annoyed you, then you can at least rest easier knowing going back into the game should be a smoother experience with friends.

Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. For more information regarding this update, head to the official Twitter page.
