Greyoll is an Elder Dragon inย Elden Ringย that idly lies in a large clearing to the west of Fort Faroth in Dragonburrow, Caelid. Stricken with Scarlet Rot, this enormous Dragon is both unable to fly and immobile. Therefore, her only defense is her offspring, small Dragons that patrol the nearby vicinity. Tarnished can recognize her young by their glowing red eyes and inability to use magic, including basic fire-breathing. Slaying her wyrmlings will reward adventurers with roughly 4,000 Runes each, and killing Greyoll will give Tarnished 50,000ย Runes and five Dragon Hearts. Her death also unlocks Greyoll’s Roar at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion.
Defeating Elder Dragon Greyoll In Elden Ring
The easiest way toย kill Elder Dragon Greyoll inย Elden Ringย is by equipping a Bleed-proccing armament such as the Uchigatana and slashing the back of her tail near Fort Faroth’s Site of Grace. This method will take several minutes, but each Blood Loss will reduce Greyoll’s HP by 15 percent, depending on the player’s Arcane.
The best aspect of slaying Greyoll with the “Bleed method” is that it can be done at a very low level. Starting as a Samurai will inherently provide the player with the Uchigatana. From The First Step Site of Grace, Tarnished canย travel to the Bestial Sanctum’s Sending Gateย behind the Third Church of Marika in Limgrave. After making their way to Fort Faroth, they should be able to take down Greyoll within minutes, netting them a “free” 50,000 Runes and multiple Dragon Hearts.
On the other hand, high-level Tarnished canย defeat Greyoll inย Elden Ringย by slaying her young. Every time one of the glowing-eyed Dragons dies, Greyoll will lose 20 percent of her HP. Accordingly, once players kill five of her children, the Elder Dragon will die, granting players the loot mentioned above. Regardless of which method is used, Tarnished are recommended to consume a Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot before Greyoll perishes to receive a significantly higher number of Runes.
