You might be a cruel beast of the night in V Rising 1.1, but you can still win the hearts of human beings! Literally! You can pull their hearts out after slaughtering them. If you’re lucky, you might get a healthier heart than usual, called the Unsullied Heart. So, if you’re getting tired of rat blood, it’s time to get an Unsullied Heart in V Rising with my help.

Your chance of getting Unsullied Heart in V Rising depends on your luck. It has a rare drop chance from the following enemies:

  • Normal enemies
  • Elite enemies (higher drop rate)
  • V Blood Bosses (higher drop rate)

You’ll also want to limit your Unsullied Heart farming to humans though other enemy types like monsters or beasts also drop Unsullied Hearts. That’s because humans are the easiest to slay while being the most abundant in V Rising.

There are, however, more efficient ways of farming Unsullied Heart in V Rising without bullying poor Worker humans.

Since V Blood carriers or bosses can also drop Unsullied Heart, they’re our ideal target for spot farming.

They have a much higher drop chance of an Unsullied Heart. You’ll want to pick the weakest among them, however, so that you can farm Unsullied Heart faster. Additionally, you should at least be Level 20 or higher for this method.

I recommend rotating between the following V Blood bosses in the Farbane Woods:

  • Alpha Wolf
  • Keely the Frost Archer
  • Errol the Stonebreaker
  • Rufus the Foreman

You can keep slaying them for Unsullied Heart. Most bosses in V Rising respawn after one in-game day (around 15 minutes on default settings) or so.

Once you have a rancid and blood-soaked bag of Unsullied Hearts, what do you do with them?

Definitely don’t consume them. Consuming an Unsullied Heart will replace your precious blood type in V Rising to Frailed. They’re only good for backup healing during desperate times, not something you should consume regularly or at all.

Apart from that, here’s another step-by-step use for Unsullied Heart:

  1. Build a Blood Press structure in your Castle.
  2. Place the Unsullied Heart.
  3. 4x Unsullied Hearts will yield a Greater Blood Essence, which you need for crafting and upgrades.
  4. You can also put one Unsullied Heart with 4x Grave Dust in the Vermin Nest to summon Nibbles the Putrid Rat.

V Rising 1.1 version is out now and available on PC and PlayStation platforms.
