Operative Karl Fairburne embarks on Mission 5: Festung Guernsey, and he stumbles into a challenge that will be very entertaining to beat. Killing Lanzo Baumann will not be enough for an operative in Sniper Elite 5. We have to bury him alive in concrete. It will not be as gruesome as it sounds. Unfortunately, the instruction is clear, but the process is not. That is why you only need to follow a few directions to end this guy.

Before assassinating him, we need to locate him. This is quite easy due to the Objectives menu showing his exact location.

Baumann will be walking around a construction site. Most of his time will be spent inside an office next to the cement mixers or inspecting one of the devices adjacent to the building.

There are two ways to bury Baumann in Sniper Elite 5. One way is to sabotage the wooden railing and the concrete machine next to him. You do this by approaching them and interacting with them. Sabotage them in the correct order since obstructing the machine will trigger him to move.

If the sniper did this stealthily, Baumann would eventually approach the machine to inspect it. He does this every so often. When this happens, he will lean on the railing, break it, and fall into the concrete.

Another, easier way to do this is to knock him unconscious through stealth or direct combat. He won’t spot the player if they come up from the northern side of the building. Carry him up the railing and throw him into the pool of cement below. Make sure not to kill him before burying his body in the cement.

Now that the deed is done, you will receive a Type 100 SMG. This will be a great addition to your arsenal for more dangerous missions. It has low recoil and does well in close quarters combat.

If you would also like to bury Lanzo Baumann into concrete, Sniper Elite 5 is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on Steam.
