I, like many of you, have been spending hours within the post apocalyptic world of Boston. Fallout 4 is easily the hottest game at the moment and the internet is filled with interesting stories and moments which is why we love Fallout 4.
Whilst looking through Reddit today, I found that the top twenty trending gaming topics were all Fallout related and I wanted to share some of the great and bizarre articles I stumbled across.
Charlie Sheen has been in the headlines recently with some devastating health issues but it has not stopped Reddit user ‘AresWarGod’ using the extravagant movie star as the inspiration for his hero.
The character creation tool at the start of Fallout 4 is pretty comprehensive and but does yours look as good as this?
Reddit user ‘AHarmlessFly’ is having some issues in his base town of Sanctuary. One of the new features in Fallout 4 is the ability to create safe havens for you and your followers. You begin this task with the help of Preston Garvey but are his intentions good or is he taking advantage of your building prowess?
In the picture below, you can see how ‘AHarmlessFly’ has created a lovely home for himself. He has a sofa, desk and even a wonderful collection of magazines to peruse. The only issue is when he needs some sleep after a tough day in the wasteland.
Preston Garvey is insistent on sleeping in his bed and if that was not inconsiderate enough, he will leave all the doors open! Bethesda, can we have some locks on our doors please!
The next story I stumbled across was the least useful advice on how to defend yourself from a Deathclaw I have ever seen.
Loading times can be a nightmare in Fallout 4, particularly on consoles. Bethesda must have been aware of this issue as they added in useful tips to read while you patiently wait. Most of the advice is pretty useful and will help you survive in the wasteland however I would not recommend following this instruction.
Reddit user ‘monkling’ received this loading screen and I can only hope he did not follow it!
The last tale reminds us of just how detailed Fallout 4 can be. As you travel around the once thriving area of Boston, you will see glimpses of the world that existed before the bombs fell.
‘Gruntykins’ came across a scene that a few men may have found themselves in. Unfortunately for this couple, it was the last moment they ever had.
It would seem this loving couple had a minor disagreement and the poor soul was sent packing. We can only imagine what the guy did to be thrown out of the house like this but I expect there is some great loot in his suitcase!
