This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information.

Eventually, something like this was bound to happen. A Fallout 4 player has constructed a pathway of pressure plates, attached to speakers that play the Super Mario theme when walked upon. The pathway is a perfect square that spirals inward. The video was posted to Youtube on November 15th. At the end of the song the creator, Gunslinger Media, also mentions that he created a pressure plate piano to play different songs with. What I want to know, is how long did it take to gather all the materials to make the Mario theme a reality? Check it out below.

It is only fair that Mario would invade other games. With Super Mario Maker, the Mushroom Kingdom has been taken over by Zelda, Metroid, Contra, classical music, and just about anything else that players could conjure up. So, Mario is now giving them all a taste of their own “medicine.”

Let’s face it. Now that this is a thing, how long will it be before other game themes are recreated in Fallout 4? Also, thanks to the use of relays, it should be possible to have these songs play by themselves.

Mario theme not enough? Here is a Legend of Zelda skin for your Fallout 4 pipboy.
