Capcom’s Exoprimal looks set to host several close network tests this summer to help with their upcoming action shooter. Capcom has announced that they will be running three tests altogether, but only for a limited time, and they will only be for the Steam version of the game, which is a shame for all you console gamers.
If players want to get involved with these closed network tests for Capcom’s Exoprimal, then they can submit an entry to join these tests on the website, and then all you’ve got to do is keep your fingers and toes crossed.
During Capcom’s showcase this week, some gameplay footage was released for this upcoming action shooter, and if you haven’t seen it, you can watch it below.
More About Capcom’s Exoprimal Planned Network Tests
These planned network tests for Capcom’s Exoprimal are as follows: The first test will be run from July 11th at 00:00 UTC (July 10th at 5 pm PDT) and will run for three hours. This first test has been confirmed to be limited to the US and Canada. The second test can be accessed by players from around the world and will run from July 25th at 00:00 UTC (July 24th at 5 pm PDT) but will now last six hours instead. And the final test will run from August 7th (at the same times as above), last for the full twenty-four hours, and will be available worldwide too.
The aim of these tests is so Capcom can find all the bugs before the game goes live, saying,
“It is so we can find the issues that can be addressed in order to improve the quality of the game. As a result, we cannot guarantee a smooth experience.”
For those who don’t know, Capcom’s Exoprimal is set twenty years in the future in 2043. It involves players taking control of an Exofighter while trying to work out why several mysterious vortexes have been popping up all over the world and releasing hordes of dinosaurs.
Capcom’s Exoprimal is scheduled to be released in 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Make sure you check out this upcoming action shooter because, going off the trailer, this looks to be quite the game.
