In The Quarry, just about everyone can die. This includes the playable cast and those around them. The Hackett Family isn’t the best around, but Sheriff Travis has his uses. If you must choose for anyone in the Hackett Family to stay alive, you should save Travis in The Quarry. We have all the tips you need to make that a reality.

How to Save Travis in The Quarry

The Quarry Alive Save Travis

Sheriff Travis Hackett certainly gives off the impression of being rough around the edges, to put it nicely. He does have a rather imposing vibe from the start, easily coming across as a corrupt cop. At the end of the day, though, Travis simply wants his family to live. He will do whatever he can to make that possible, no matter the cost.

But compared to some of the unsavory members of the Hackett clan, it doesn’t hurt to keep Travis alive in The Quarry. In fact, if you play your cards right, Travis turns into a big help.

So, let’s figure out how to save Travis in The Quarry.

Travis can only die in Chapter 9 or Chapter 10. Until then, just stop him from making foolish decisions that can lead to incredible harm.

First, in Chapter 9, Travis can either get mauled to death or shot in the face. To prevent this, ensure that Ryan does not miss when he either shoots Laura or shoots Chris. Missing will cause Werewolf Laura to kill Travis.

The next occasion you get to save Travis in The Quarry is to make sure that Laura did NOT shoot him in jail. This way, Travis won’t have a reason to want to attack her. If he attacks her, Travis will die if Ryan did NOT pull the knife out as he will use the shotgun to shoot Travis.

In Chapter 10, make sure Laura takes the wheel in the car. She must also pass all her QTEs. By doing so, Travis won’t be decapitated by Silas or shot. Also, as Laura choose to NOT shoot Travis when the opportunity comes.

Afterward, you’ll have saved Travis in The Quarry.

The Quarry is available on PC, PS5, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
