The Quarry is the latest drama interactive game made by the creative team of Until Dawn, Supermassive Games. Like the studio’s previous game, players will determine the destiny of many characters by choice and if they press the buttons correctly in the button-hitting sequences. The Hacketts’ family members have a significant role in the game, and each chapter introduces them. Like every other character in the game, you have the chance to kill all their family members, so here is how to kill all the Hacketts in The Quarry.
How to Kill All The Hacketts (Family Matters) in The Quarry
Before you proceed with the guide, it is recommended to play the game once and have your unique experience because this guide will spoil some major plot points of the game.
The real reason you might want to kill all the Hacketts is the secret trophy called Family Matters that can be achieved by killing all the members. As you might have known, you cannot kill all of them at once, but each dies in a different chapter.
The first family member that dies is Kaylee in chapter 5. The death of Kaylee is unavoidable as you cannot control Laura, who is responsible for the kill.
The next member is Constance Hackett, that can be killed in Chapter 9. After leaving the Red Room, Constance drags Laura to Hackett’s House, where she tries to blind her. As they struggle to get the shotgun, completing the QTE will result in Laura shooting Constance and killing her.
In this chapter, you can also kill Jedediah Hackett. As Laura gets away from the Hacketts, she gets caught by Jedediah in a room where he attacks her with a knife. Once again, completing the QTE will save Laura, and you should choose Attack to kill Jed after the QTE.
In the same chapter, Bobby Hackett can also be killed. While you are running away as Ryan, do not pull the knife to save Bobby. When Ryan encounters Bobby, remove the knife and then Stab him to weaken him. This will make Bobby weak in the final battle, where he won’t be able to fend off werewolf Chris, leading to his death.
Again in Chapter 9, you can kill Caleb Hackett as well. First, you have to keep Abigail alive. Then in the Storm Shelter, approach the fuse box on the wall and interact with it to get a Silver Shell.
When Caleb attacks Kaitlyn in the Lodge and picks these choices in order: 1) Run. 2) Beam. 3) Run. 4) Investigate
Then Abigail will give Kaitlyn the Silver Shell and then Shoot Caleb to kill him.
Chris Hackett is another member of the family that can be killed in the last scene of Chapter 9. While playing as Ryan, Shoot Chris Hackett to cure those he infected and kill him.
The last member of the family is Travis Hackett, who can be killed in two ways. If you choose to shoot Travis in Chapter 7, this will lead to Laura’s death in Chapter 9. Therefore the Police Officer will attack Ryan. Completing the QTE and Shooting Travis will lead to his death.

If Laura and Travis end up helping each other, you must not Raise the Gun at Silas at the end of Chapter 10 and also Fail QTE so that Laura will shoot Travis by accident.
