A lot of people were a bit shaky when Sony announced their option against Game Pass. Some people thought it wouldn’t work and Game Pass would continue ruling. However, there are a lot of reasons why the new PS Plus service is amazing. There are some PS Plus August updates that will make a lot of players happy. This time the Extra and Premium tiers are getting a few titles along with the ones they already got that are great. And this, along with other PS Plus Extra games, we can now say that the service is standing strong.
PS Plus August Updates Include 12 New Games
August will be a big month for PS Plus. The PS Plus August updates include a total of 12 new games. All of them will release next week. Amongst these games, we have a big variety of titles that players will love to play. On one hand, we have Dead by Daylight, a game that has gained popularity amongst streamers and players. And, it is getting Albert Wesker soon in an update. Another of the new PS Plus Extra games will be Ghost Recon Wildlands. Another one of Ubisoft’s hits the expanding catalog of PS Plus games.
On the other PS Plus Extra games coming to the platform, we have Bugsnax, Everspace, Metro Exodus, and more. This is something great for this new platform. Or, well, not new, but revamped. Xbox Game Pass is always trying to include even bigger things. They just announced they’ll be introducing a family sharing mode. Most people will say that these PS Plus August updates aren’t as big, but maybe Sony is aiming for quality over quantity. Only time will tell which service reaches the top and stays there. But so far, PS Plus seems to be standing on firm ground and does not want to let go.
