The Saints aren’t worth much if you can’t cement their hold in the city. If you want to expand your mark, you need Venture Buildings. These grant you passive income, so you always earn some kind of money in the game. So, gaining this ongoing income stream is why you want to unlock all 15 available Ventures. But let’s just take a look at one. We’ll show you how to unlock Castle Kraken in Saints Row to add this to your Venture Buildings.

How to Unlock Castle Kraken in Saints Row

Saints Row Castle Kraken Venture Buildings

Castle Kraken is a Tier 1 Venture Building in Saints Row. So, once you get the Sinta HQ, you can work to unlock Castle Kraken relatively early. Speak to Eli at the Church, and you will get a mission dubbed “The Dustmoot.” Here, you will learn all about the LARP adventuring and Dustlander.

From here, simply follow the main mission line to get the chance to build Castle Kraken in Saints Row: “The Dustmoot” > “The Road Warrior” > “Unto the Breach.”

One caveat to unlocking “The Road Warrior” is to build Castle Kraken. So, after “The Dustmoot,” head to your empire board. If you don’t know where it is, it’s located on the second floor of your HQ. All you have to do now is select where you want to place Castle Kraken, and you’ll have yourself a new Venture Building in Saints Row.

Castle Kraken will cost $30,000 to build. If you don’t have the money, you can always just return to the board later to build it. When you have Castle Kraken, you also get the following:

  • Starting income: $1250 per hour
  • Maximum income: $3750 per hour

It’s a nice chunk of change you can put toward buying everything you like, such as vehicle upgrades.

Once Castle Kraken is built, you can continue with the epic LARP questline. Upon completion of all the Venture missions, you’ll get these rewards:

  • $30,000
  • 5000 XP
  • Dustlander Crew Outfit
  • Costume Dustlander
  • Dustrider (Vehicle)
  • D20 (Collectible)
