Players interested in their 2015 Xbox stats can check out the 2015 Year in Review page at Xbox.com. The breakdown includes hours spent on the Xbox Live service, Gamerscore totals, notable achievements, and how players stack up to their friends as well as the rest of the Xbox community.
Any remotely competitive gamer will find their worldwide standings interesting though some of the categories report improbably high numbers. This raises a few questions about how Xbox consoles interpret your activity when you’re away from the controller but downloading games, updates, and other network data.
It’s likely no coincidence that directly in the center of these stats users can see yearly savings for Xbox Live Gold members as well as the percentage of Microsoft’s “top games” they played during the year. The infographic claims Gold members “have saved up to $975* with Games With Gold” but, interestingly, does not explain what that sum includes.
Microsoft is taking measures to keep the community engaged in anticipation of its biggest Xbox Store sale to date, starting December 22. The event promises 17 days of significant markdown on major releases including Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6, and more.
