One of the franchises that have been here for a long time is Star Wars. Whether it has taken good or bad turns, it’s up to everyone. Some people hate the last movies, yet, some people love the latest two Star Wars games we got. The Lego Star Wars one and Jedi: Fallen Order. The latter is getting a sequel soon. With that in mind though, now that EA isn’t the only company with the rights, Disney wants two new Star Wars games every year. Something bold for Disney to say.

Disney Wants Two New Star Wars Games Per Year

While none here know the intricacies of game development, what we do know is that games take a lot of time. However, with this news about new games coming every year, it seems Disney has a strategy for that. Now that EA isn’t the only studio able to make games from this franchise, the idea would be to launch a AAA title and another small one. Think of it like the sequel of Jedi: Fallen Order and a mobile Star Wars game for example. In that case, the idea doesn’t sound too bad.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Release Date Revealed

We already know that there are some games on the horizon. Among all the new games that we know of we have the remake of Knights of the Old Republic which was a great RPG from back in the day. We know that Ubisoft is working on an open-world Star Wars game that we hope takes the direction of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed titles. And of course, the other one we’ve mentioned is Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, the sequel to Fallen Order. The landscape looks bright for the new Star Wars games now that more studios can dip their feet in that universe. So, here we hope that we get some great games and high-quality ones at that.
