Maria Mashkova and Dimiter Marinov have been announced as the latest additions to For All Mankind on Apple TV+. Mashkova and Marinov will be joining Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, and others in season 3 of the drama series created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi.
First premiering on Apple TV+ in 2019, For All Mankind features a world where the global space race never ended. Described by the official series synopsis as a “thrilling ‘what-if’ take on history”, the series centers around the high-stakes lives of Edward “Ed” Baldwin (Joel Kinnaman) and Gordon “Gordo” Stevens (Michael Dorman) and their wives, Karen (Shantel VanSanten) and Tracy (Sarah Jones), along with a collection of other NASA astronauts and engineers in a world where the Soviet Union beat the United States to the moon, and the road of aeronautical advancement continued from there.

Season 3 of For All Mankind, which premiered on Apple TV+ in June 2022, reportedly shifts the focus of the show to the 1990s, where the USSR and the USA have their sights set on Mars, along with an “unexpected new entrant with a lot to prove and even more at stake,” according to Deadline. New cast additions for the third season include Daniel Stern (Home Alone), Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four), and Tyner Rushing (Under the Banner of Heaven), along with Maria Mashkova and Dimiter Marinov.
Maria Mashkova and Dimiter Marinov will be joining For All Mankind (2019) as Svetlana, a co-pilot, and Ilya, a Mars space veteran, respectively. Dimiter Marinov boasts a storied acting career, with some of his prior roles including Oleg in Green Book (2018), Fyodor in The Americans (2016), and Kerimov in Act of Valor (2012). Some of Maria Mashkova’s other roles include Vera in The Counted (2018), Actress in Mafia: Game of Survival (2016), and Katya in Newsmakers (2009).
For All Mankind features Ronald D. More, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi as executive producers alongside Maril Davis, David Weddle, and Bradley Thompson. The series is produced by Sony Pictures for Apple TV+.
